Project Description:
Karen contacted me to create a unique image for her and her web site, Saving the Family Money. I sketched out a character based on a photo of Karen and aside from some “tweaking” the initial concept was a hit. I then created a header layout with title font and styling, and then some avatar choices for use on her social sites and Facebook pages.

In addition to the contracted artwork I also like to give my clients little extras, things like Twitter pages, favicons, and web page elements (buttons, banners, etc.). I enjoy doing this because I am as excited about creating the client’s new image as they are about getting one.

In the end, of course, the greatest satisfaction comes when the person I’m creating the artwork for is pleased, as Karen certainly was.
